Exercise, along with diet, is probably one of the most important things you can do for your overall health. As children, we have tons of energy and usually get all the exercise we need, but as we age, we spend more time in front of our computers at work and don’t get as much exercise as we need.
Sitting is now known as the new smoking! Since we are spending so much time sitting now, we need to find creative ways we can get a good workout in. With busy lives, we sometimes only have 10-20 minutes a day or less to squeeze this in.
Whatever you do, exercise! Even if it’s just 5 minutes per day. It will make a huge difference in how you age.
Maintaining muscle tone as we age will help us have a much more enjoyable life and keep us from becoming dependent on others too early.
